I would love this for my grandson Cause he has it and needs to learn more about it.
My son is 28, not a child. We never knew what was wrong, we just knew if was something. After 4 different Doctors all determining it was in fact Aspergers we got him on SSI and he now has Medicare. He throws adult temper tantrums not child tantrums. We need help with this and where to go for care that specialize in his disorder. He was evaluated as a modern day Einstein due to his intelligence. He is so advanced in everything he knows about, we have trouble communicating with him. It is great to have such a superior person in our lives only it also has disadvantages. Can you help us?
If he was a child the e-mails with the classes would have helped when he was little. As you well know, Aspergers and Autism were not very well understood back in the 80′s and 90′s as it is today. We now have a clear diagnosis and need your assistance with him. What can we do? Where can we go? Who can help us in the Fresno/Clovis area? Are there medications? Tell us, guide us, show us, and let us be able to help him to help himself. No, he cannot live in a group home, it would destroy him. We truly need people to come to our home as he cannot stand going out of the house with strangers. We have to build up to that. Please help us as this would help other parents as well who are now dealing with adult Asperger individuals.

I would love this. Even though my grandson has been diagnosed with Aspergers his mother and step father have a hard time accepting it.
As someone who formed his own mind step by step by THINKING, like my super heroine – Temple Grandin – I am incredible anxious to dig into all the problems that you have raising your kids. I had to raise myself ideologically and I describe myself in many far out, to put it mildly, ways: 1. Prophetic Autistic (I prefer to use the long used word “idiot”) Savant 2.Visionary Ideological Mediator (VIM) 3. Independent Philosophic Theologian.
I hope you people will respond to me in a similar manner to how you have responded to Temple Grandin. Sadly, I enthusiatically sign up to attend a Seminar by William Stillman and it was canceled due to not enough interest. I have a VERY STRONG CONVICTION that I can be of inestimable HELP if the response to me mirrors the reaction that Temple Grandin received.

P.S. My very happy and fulfilled dad, who died at age 92 on 9/13/07, told me when I was 24.5 years old, “You never lied to me before.” My essential view is that we are spiritual beings born to fufill dreams and have HONESTY as a natural state of mind.
My grandson has a problem going to bed at night and getting up in the morning. He doesn’t want to do his school work until late at night. They have tried to get him to get it done earlier so he will have more free time but can’t get it through to him. Everything has to wait until the last minute.
I am very much like Temple Grandin who is the most psychologically courageous person I have ever heard of or read about. Watch the Movie about her which is entitled, “TEMPLE GRANDIN” be exhilarated to perhaps the highest degree ever in your life!
